Under the leadership of Chancellor Francine Conway, Rutgers University-New Brunswick is conducting a self-study to better coordinate and assess the ways in which the University fosters innovation and economic prosperity. The results of the self-study will then be used to obtain the Innovation and Economic Prosperity (IEP) designation from the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU). Such a designation identifies and acknowledges how research, teaching, and service conducted under the aegis of the University benefits talent, innovation, and place while also highlighting Rutgers’ value in enhancing the economic prosperity of residents, communities, and businesses in New Jersey and beyond.
